My name is Jake. I am a cybersecurity engineer who tinkers in his spare time.

This page doesn't do much at the moment, but I hope to add more to it as time permits.

I had always tinkered around with computers as a kid, taking on the role of the family IT guy pretty early on. This interest led to a computer science degree from Mount St. Mary's University in 2023 (go Mount!), where I graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Before my senior year, I interned at a large company focusing on vulnerability management. This internship continued through my senior year, leading to a full-time job offer after graduation. I've been working there ever since, now focusing on PKI & PAM as of mid-2025.
